It is not up to us to structure the events
that take us through dark times.
It is up to us to look for the light.
Ann: Miriam?
Miriam: Yes. I have come to speak to all of you about a crisis of faith. This is something with which I am intimately familiar. I too lived in a time in which it felt as if the walls were closing in, yet at the same time, the light shone brighter in that stark darkness because of the contrast.
Jesus was my love, my teacher, and my hero, and yet I had to move on without him in bodily form. I had to hold him in my heart, not just as image, but as energy. Every one of you who has lost a loved one knows that their energy does not leave you if its presence has something to impart.
It is not up to us to structure the events that take us through dark times, but it is up to us to look for the light, for the goodness in the corners of even very dark souls, even when those souls might seem to be our own, cast out of the garden onto barren soil.
This is not the time for the faint of heart. It is the time for heroes, and each of you are the stuff of which heroes are made. For this did you come. Take up your sword and shield and cleave away that darkness until the light shines free and flowing in your own eyes and into your life.
This is the work of the millennium. We must be about it without delay, for we lift up countless others when we smile.
