Nothing is more attractive to dark energies
than those who have committed to expanding the love of Source.

Mother Mary: Good morning, Ann.
Ann: Sorry about that, somehow it’s been hard to get here.
Mother Mary: Ann, all of you on the planet are moving through a challenging period which in many ways reflects the universal collective trauma. It is for each of us to recognize that trauma and employ all of our skills and talents to offset any dark energies reverberating in our own lives on course with the expanding evolution of light.
There are forces that want to set that process back or even stop it in its tracks. I lived through one of those periods both personally - note that today is Good Friday - and as part of the collective.
What is happening now is not the end of the world, but instead yet another fiery birthing of our recommitment to our Creator’s love for her creation. We simply have to buckle down, claim the joy that is everywhere if we look for it, and stand firm against the darkness when it threatens.
Ann: Every time I tried to get to you yesterday, something got in the way. Errands took longer than they should, computer problems defied resolution, interminable calls with program administrators shook my patience, little farm emergencies changed my focus, then dinner, and then total exhaustion for no good reason.
This morning a myriad of distractions of household matters absolutely demanded my immediate attention, and then finally when I said, “Screw it,” and sat down here, a sudden allergy attack came at me and I could not find my meds.
Mother Mary: Yes. You are beginning to see the pattern that can develop when we decide that we are going to commit to the light, to the projects that each of us has that further that creative energy.
Sometimes there are miscellaneous gremlins which a recommitment to openness can let in. Sometimes events from our past rear their ugly heads to derails us, sometimes there are individuals either dead or living who for one reason or another do not want to see us move further along our Creator’s chosen path.
Witness the havoc that Jesus caused by a commitment to compassion, humility, healing, and love. These very concepts are threats to some in this world and elsewhere. We have to be prepared for this blowback, for nothing is more attractive to dark energies than those who have committed to expanding the love of Source .
There you sit, wheezing and sniffling, trying to take down these words, example in point! It makes me laugh, and you should too because laughter is one of our most powerful defenses. Swat them away and keep going.
And when these forces join together in destruction and terror, our response is not only laughter but faith, faith that knows that futility is the name of any effort that has hatred at its core. We go through dark periods, my children, but, trust me, these always precede a major breakthrough.
Many say that human nature never changes, and in many ways that is true, but remind yourselves that the laws and freedoms that are now being challenged with such treachery and violence have by their very existence sparked that challenge.
It is progress that brings out the demons, and once again we will need to fight them to a draw, institute new protections, and live in expanded ways until such brilliance calls forth another challenge.
We are moving up on creation’s spiral every time we choose to practice love and compassion while defending our faith in whatever way is necessary. Each of you is a microcosm of this process, and each victory aids the collective in its struggle to expand love’s creative powers as our Creator has asks us to do – and to banish a few demons along the way while we're at it!
Do not think you are in this alone, that your small choices have no effect on the collective, for it is, in fact, those small choices taken together that will lead us out of this dark period.
We are in it together, you, me, your children and mine. It is for them that we fight and laugh and pray. It is for them that we will succeed and prosper.

Why these "gremlins, doubts, sneezing and wheezing" episodes?
Why indeed?
I sincerely doubt I am alone here.
I, amongst many if not all reading the messages from Ann's channeling, continue to ask, have asked,beseech, plead, etc., to all of you as our sincere intents are to ascend.
Yet often, at least it certainly seems so each day, it comes to naught; we are left where we started.
Though your efforts are appreciated, at this very juncture, I end up rolling my eyes shaking my head.
Would it be asking too much for a more precise message rather than that of generalities? As you know, humans can be a bit dense, myself included.
