Nourishment

Ann: Jesus, Anita* said you had something you wanted to put on the blog.

Jesus: Yes, Ann, I do, but more importantly I want to say to you that you do not have to be in the bright light of Spirit to come to talk to me. In fact, many people find me when they are someplace else. You are afraid the words won’t flow when you are disconnected, but I would suggest that perhaps the opposite is true. When you need me, when you have lost your compass, when you have traveled to a darker place, that is the time to ask one of us to open a door for you or at least crack a window.

This blog that you have going here is a precious thing, and I know you understand that. You are just afraid of looking at it too closely for fear it will disappear. That is not going to happen, Ann. Once you have found the light, your soul craves that nourishment, and nothing else will do.

I and many others are here for you in the dark times. I would go so far as to say that we are built for those times. When you are hungry, we will give you something to eat. In the whirlwind, we will be your guides. You have only to ask. Let us have done with the notion that we have to be perfect when we come to Spirit, for nothing could be further from the truth. There is no man, woman, or child in human form who is perfect, and I count myself among that group. We study, we pray, we party, we act and act out. All are part of the human condition. How you hold these contradictions in the center of your being is what creates your connection to the light.

So give over this weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth and come to us so that we can walk beside you, hold your hand when times get rough. It’s good to have a friend, and that friendship goes both ways. We are in need of your companionship for completion just as you need ours. Don’t be a stranger.
